STATUTES

All the courses offered by the Intech IBM are approved by the public Agencies and the qualifications are recognized by industry and business. Intech IBM is established by law under the Provisions of Indian Universities, Karnataka State Universities(Amendment) Act of 1986, Karnataka Act 28 of 1976 and is -

-Affiliated to Bangalore University
-Recognised by Govt. of Karnataka
-Approved by All India Council for Technical
  Education, Govt. of India


STUDENT RESIDENCES

The course is residential with separate hostels for men and women. Both the hostels are located in the vicinity of the Institute.
The hostel has fully furnished rooms on double occupancy basis. A mess attached to the hostel provides quality food. The hostel has a playground nearby for the students. A recreation room with TV and Video facilities are provided for the entertainment of the students. The Mess and other welfare activities in the hostel are managed solely by student committees.
Apart from the Institute hostels which are run by Student Committee on a nonprofit dividing system, there is ample amount of private housing around the Institute. As a general guide, students should budget approximately Rs. 1200/- to Rs. 2500/- per month for their living expenses in Bangalore. This does not include tuition fees or costs of maintaining a vehicle.

Types of accommodations :

Houses: range from two bedrooms and include a kitchen, bathroom and living area. Most houses have laundry facilities and are unfurnished.
Unfurnished Apartments: range from one bedroom to three bedrooms and include a kitchen, bathroom and living area. Most apartments have individual or separate laundry facilities.
Houses and Apartments: Rental costs range from Rs. 1000.00 per month to Rs. 1300.00. This does not include food costs. Many students rent a house or apartment on a shared basis with other students that significantly reduce costs. Allowance must be made to cover the connection cost associated with utilities (i.e. electricity/gas/telephone).
